      Responsibilities:

        • Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck
        • Load and unload freight
        • Properly track and document activity log
        • Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
        • Inspect truck before and after trip

          Requirements

          • Valid Class A CDL with 2 years of verifiable OTR CDL-A Experience
          • 1-year exp with spotless MVR also accepted
          • Minimum age of 23 years old
          • Need to be able to pass TWIC verification
          • Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug test. No alcohol or drug convictions in the last 5 years, or 10 years if the offense occurred while holding a CDL.
          • No careless or reckless driving or speeding over 15 MPH
          • Fewer than 2 preventable accidents in the past 5 years

          All Lewis Transcontinental trucks are equipped with Motive road-facing cameras, ELD, and electronic sensors that enable  live tracking of freight and help keep our drivers safe on the road.
